I am cinematographer based in Spokane, Washington. My experience encompasses a range of diverse projects including feature films, episodic tv, commercials and documentaries. I have worked for clients such as Anheuser Busch, HBO Sports, Modelo, Entertainment Tonight, Comcast, BNSF Railway, WSU Athletics, Pacifica Senior Living, Abbvie Pharmaceuticals and American Family Insurance. My work has appeared on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, Syfy, PBS, CBS, ESPN and UFC.
I have the distinction of being formally trained in the industry while owning one of the largest supplies of equipment in the Inland Northwest. I found photography while in middle school and later attended Brooks Institute of Photography. I earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree in 2005. While at Brooks, I studied advertising, Ansel Adam’s Zone System and industrial scientific imaging. I managed a photography studio before diving into cinematography. I have been focused on video and film production since 2010.
I am proficient in productions of all sizes, from remote production to part of a larger crew. I own only the best equipment, including: a Sony FS-7 4K cinema camera, Canon cinema lenses, gimbal stabilizers, dollies, jibs, teleprompters, monitors, and audio equipment. I own a grip and lighting rental company, so I can outfit a production with everything from basic three-point lighting using Litepanels to providing a 3 ton grip truck packed with high end fixtures including Arri Orbiter, Skypanel and HMIs.
I embrace a collaborative creative process, and a fun, yet professional atmosphere at all stages of production. I tackle each project in a highly methodical way, utilizing theory and creativity to achieve beautiful images.
