Born and raised in the Midwest, Justin grew up in a farming community on the outskirts of St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Webster University studying Film, Television, and Video production, before continuing to work in the St. Louis market for 5 years. While in St. Louis he learned the ropes in several departments before making the jump to cinematographer.

He enjoys shooting narrative, and commercial work of all kinds and has been a part of hundreds of short films, features, commercials, and music videos. Some of the clients Justin has worked with include Monsanto, Goldfarb School of Nursing, St. Louis Blues, and Rise STL. His narrative cinematography work includes over a dozen short films, and a Multi Season web series. His directorial works include “Unwritten” which screened in London, Miami, and Arizona; as well as Found (best coming of age Toronto at Clift).

He is an an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators and an avid event attendee. He loves talking shop and experimenting with new camera and lens combinations. When not on set, he enjoys being in the outdoors, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
