About Us

Goodsides LLC, a Minority-Owned Social Enterprise, provides script-to-screen development for public agency campaigns, media assets, and other community outreach efforts. Using the power of video, our founders work closely with institutional and governmental partners to target specific community segments and pull people in. We were founded during the California Lockdown in 2020 after Louis (our CEO) spent 15 years directing films and providing outreach while employed at Green Media Creations (GMC), a water agency contractor here in Southern California. Conservation is a major part of our existence, from pledging to Zero Carbon initiatives and green programs, to working with LA Compost and the LA Sanitation Department to highlight their important waste-reduction work.

As advocates for social equity, we have proudly become officially recognized for our DEI work with our recent Social Enterprise Certification, which only 161 other organizations have obtained. Togetherness is forged through our video production and we understand the importance of highlighting diverse voices, talent, and experiences as well.

Goodsides is more than a video crew or production team; we are also photographers, designers and InDesign experts, a website recommendation house, consultants on which messages will move the engagement needle, and more. If we are not filming and leading the cinematic new direction of a college’s brand (for instance), we are pulling from our 4K footage to create postcards for the City of Sacramento, or helping a library build out a nationwide curriculum about race.
