I was given an incredibly unique journey in life and because of that it has taught me a lot about life and people. My life started rough, but it set the stage for what was to come. I got lupus at 13 and spent my teens fighting it and going through chemo. At 20 I lost my kidneys to lupus and spent most of my twenties on dialysis. At 28 I had to find out who I was after finally getting my life back. I would go back to college and eventually travel the US on my own(driving). First living in mile high country in the Denver area of Colorado and then moving on to the beaches of Gulf shores. Each place presented their own struggles, but I grew so much and found out so much about who I was and how resilient I was beyond the resilience I had in hospitals. From there I would go back to Connecticut (where my family lives), to regroup and take my first big Euro trip. Following that I would travel central America and then head to school at Loyola University in New Orleans. It was here where I would find artist that appreciated my drive and hustle, we would go on to start our own music production company. It was both Loyola and UNO that had me falling in love with the big screen and the creative side of behind the camera. While in New Orleans I did extra work on some big projects, it was on the set of "The Green Book" that I knew I wanted to be part of creating the magic behind the camera. I have always been a creative person; I have been writing for as long as I can remember and like with anything that you do, I have only become better at it. In October 2020 I was offered a chance to work on some independent films and it was there that I found my organizational, task focused, and awareness of what is going on, were a valued skills to have while on set. I have been an AD on two projects and a UPM on a smaller project. I am still learning but I learn quickly, while also being very patient, understanding, and can understand people on a deeper level than most. I am a certified life coach as well and have seen the value that it brings to any set I have been on. My goal is to build myself up in the industry, so that I can write, direct, and/or produce movies like the Pursuit of Happiness, because my story is very much relatable to it, and I have heard many say to me that I inspire them. So, if I could tell the world stories that show hope and that anything is possible than just maybe I can help those out there believe in themselves again. Even though life has not always been easy, I have lived and extraordinary life. Life is about learning and growing, and I have never been more ready to grow in entertainment industry.
I have been in the industry since 2020.
