About Me

I am an Emmy-nominated director of photography, camera operator, and biologist who has been capturing powerful stories for over 10 years. I have extensive experience filming for a variety of high-end documentaries including short-form, feature-length, and blue-chip natural history docs. My production background spans from researching, directing, and shooting to editing and final delivery giving me a firm grasp on what it takes to maximize a story's power. I specialize primarily on conservation and wildlife documentaries but my skillset is easily transferable to narrative or commercial work. My work has been showcased by Netflix, BBC, National Geographic, PBS Nature, the Sundance Institute, Terra Mater Factual Studios, and GoPro.

I am an owner/operator with a full RED Gemini and RED Komodo kit, DJI Ronin Pro Combo gimbal, professional drones, underwater housings, tripods, Rhino motion time-lapse sliders, plus many GoPros and accessories.
