About Me

Roo is a commercial/documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Boulder, Colorado but travels all around the world for his filmmaking career. He has directed films above 14,000ft in the Rocky Mountain West, worked as a camera operator among indigenous communities in Peru and Ecuador, provided stills work for professional surfers in Costa Rica and has received notable recognition in his hometown of Orcas Island in Washington State for his work telling stories in the outdoor space. He specializes in outdoor lifestyle and he’s worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Netflix, Outside Magazine, Garmin, Altra and Ortovox.

I have been in the industry since 2017.
