Ahmari Kareem is a Director from the northern suburbs of Chicago best known for her short films The Viewing and A Better Love. Her early interest in writing and appreciation of the arts led her to earn a B.S. in marketing from Northern Illinois University where she thought she would go on to later work in advertising. Ahmari's goals shifted after working as PA and extras actress in Chicago, IL a little over a year ago. She has a keen eye for detail and is known to immerse herself into the the vision of a production paying close attention set design and wardrobe to tell stories. In October 2022, Ahmari earned an MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University where she also served as valedictorian of her class. While Ahmari would love to work closely with the Director to expand her knowledge of directing, she looks forward to the journey ahead as an Office PA, Art PA or as an integral player in the wardrobe or set design design department in the Great Atlanta Area!
