About Me

AMELIA SPITLER is a lesbian filmmaker and producer. Her work focuses on character-driven stories rife with internal conflict. As a film coordinator, her first feature, Emma Seligman’s Shiva Baby, won the John Cassavetes Award at the 2022 Independent Spirit Awards. As a film producer, her first short, Daniel Ferrer’s Ex Disposer, was nominated for Best Student U.S. Short at the 2020 Palm Springs International ShortFest. Most recently, she was the Assistant to the Co-Executive Producer of NBC/Wolf Entertainment’s “Chicago Fire” series.
