COMPANY HISTORY:

In 1914, with nothing more than a vision of a new life and $30 to his name, 17-year-old Luca Milano boarded the S.S. Adriatic and began the journey to America from a small village in southern Italy.

En route, the ship was stopped at the Strait of Gibraltar where he had to spend most or all of what was left in his pocket to continue. While Luca may have been penniless when he made it to Ellis Island, he put down his roots and the Milano family story began.

More than a century later, Luca’s great-grandson Luke founded Immagina Media.

The English translation of the Italian “Immagina” (pronounced ee-MA-gee-nuh) is “You Imagine,” and pays homage to the founder’s roots, while also highlighting a critical facet of creative work: Imagination.
