About

The HDx35 Mark II is an optical adapter manufactured by IB/E Optics that allows you to put B4-mount 2/3" HD lenses onto Super-35 sensor cameras. This enables the use of high-quality, long-range HD zooms with the latest generation of digital cinema cameras. The new Mark II edition has a larger image projection to fully cover the large sensor of the Canon C100/C300/C500 cameras.

The new model also introduces the UMS Universal Lens Mount system, which allows the HDx35 Mk II's special split-PL mount to accept UMS quick-release adapters in Canon EF, Nikon, Micro 4/3, and Sony E-mount. The UMS adapters can be swapped quickly in the field -- its unique design leaves the precision flange depth of the lens mount intact, so all your lenses will always focus properly when using the adapter. The HDx35 Mk II also includes a lens support post to avoid undue stress on the camera's lens mount.

Watch my video above to learn more about the HDx35 Mk II and see how it integrates seamlessly with the Canon C300.
