G.L. optics is a company that specializes in cinema lens conversions and rehousing of still lenses for cinema use. In this interview Avi talks with us about the company, the process and lenses available.

Normally professional cinema lenses have apertures that flow freely through the T-stop range unlike photography lenses that "click" on each aperture stop. These lenses generally also have geared rings on the barrel of the lens for follow focus and for the aperture adjustments. In addition to the above-mentioned items, cinema lenses generally have what is called a PL mount or positive lock.
