This is a series of time-lapses I shot in the spring of 2014. The point of this piece is to show the transition between winter and spring and convey the world coming back to life. The use of motion graphics in this video is a poem by Algernon Charles Swinburne and the words of the poem fit perfectly with what I had shot so I used them and music to help convey the meaning of my shots.

I shot these time-lapses in stereoscopic 3D over the corse of a month. I shot it using 2 GoPro Hero3 cameras in a special mount that I made for this very project. The post production work was done in a combination of Premier and After Effects. I used several plug-ins in After Effects to get the desired 3D effect. There is also a bit of compositing and particle effects done on the clouds and the night scene.
