In this interview Frieder showcases the latest updates to the Celeb LED Line & 4ft 4Bank Lighting System.

Kino Flo’s new innovative soft Celeb DMX LED is ideally suited for today’s growing demands for energy efficient, portable, yet color-correct LED lighting. The Celeb joins the Kino Flo family of Academy Award-winning lighting systems. The Celeb was developed using the latest technology to conform to Kino Flo’s highest standards – cool, color-correct, flicker-free and dead quiet, which is what sets the Celeb apart from all other LED’s.

As with all Kino Flos, the Celeb’s soft, lustrous color has been specially formulated to match the spectral distribution curves of HD film and video cameras. With a high photo rendering index (PRI 95), the Celeb operates coolly and flicker-free, even while dimming, and maintains its True Match® color temperature without any color shift. With its soft, beauty light and compact, sturdy design, the Celeb makes a great tool for rigorous everyday use in any studio environment or on location.

The all-in-one metal alloy fixture includes onboard and DMX dimming and runs universally at 100-240VAC or 24VDC. The push-button Kelvin presets can be fine-tuned to custom settings from 2700K to 5500K with a turn of a dial. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings. The Celeb’s slim profile mounts onto a stand or can be hung from a grid with a pipe clamp.

Kino Flo’s award winning 4ft 4Bank portable lighting system is reintroduced with a new design. With new universal voltage from 100VAC to 240VAC, the 4Bank can be used anywhere in the world. The 4Bank is brighter than a 1,000W softlight, yet draws only 2.6A (120VAC), 50% less than the previous model. New features include new graphics, new color coded connectors and new power switches.

The lighter weight 4Bank ballast has the same classic features: individual light control, HO/Standard switching and the same high quality standards: flicker-free, instant-on, dead quiet operation. Color temperature doesn’t shift when light levels change. With its new and classic features, the popular 4Bank remains to be a favorite tool among lighting professionals in the studio or on location.
