Engaging documentary portrait of the director's unique relationship with her quadriplegic older brother. Without becoming preachy or dogmatic, the film lets us understand what it’s like to use a head-controlled wheelchair and a talking computer, and gives us insight into the close relationship of a brother and sister who are in some ways extremely different and in some ways surprisingly alike. Technically, there are some unusual camera positions and an effective interweaving of archival footage with family vignettes, flashbacks, and interviews.
