Deep Isolation needed to quickly communicate an overview of their nuclear waste disposal solution to investors. Their marketing agency, Timelapse, hired Raconteur to develop an animation.

Animation was a good solution in this case since 99% of the operation happens underground where it would be impossible to use video cameras. Another advantage of animation was due to the huge breadth of scale. With object sizes ranging from 1 cm to 1 mile. animation was able to manipulate the scale and make the ideas easier to communicate.

Thus far the animation has proved effective for Deep Isolation in their presentations and investors have congratulated them on the video.
