About

I got the chance to speak with John Trudell (1946-2015) back in 2008 at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada. All these years later - finally got around to posting the interview with him. More Trudell sound in the world - The Better.

Growing up, my mom would tell me stories about him and we went to see his films Thunderheart (1992) and Incident At Oglala (1992). When my mom was pregnant with me, she stayed with the family (she knew Tina). There was so much I wanted to ask him but I was just thankful I got the opportunity to speak with him.
