About

At Live Aid 40, I played a pivotal role in reimagining one of music’s most iconic humanitarian events for its 40th anniversary. Leveraging over a decade of experience in high-impact storytelling and commercial production as CEO and Founder of Kura Productions, I led my team to conceptualize and produce compelling visual content that celebrated the enduring spirit of the original Live Aid concert while engaging new audiences in today’s digital age.

In my role, I worked closely with international partners and creative talent to capture the historic essence of Live Aid—merging archival footage with fresh, innovative cinematic approaches. My work involved meticulous planning, on-site direction, and post-production oversight to ensure that every frame reflected both the legacy of the original event and its modern reinterpretation. This project not only paid tribute to the monumental global fundraising efforts that helped millions during the 1980s Ethiopian famine but also underscored Live Aid’s relevance in sparking cultural dialogue about humanitarian aid today.

My contribution to Live Aid 40 is a testament to my commitment to using film as a medium for social change, and it continues to inspire further projects that combine artistry with a message of global solidarity.
