About Me

I have been involved in photography and film/video for a long time. I began many years ago working in photo labs and sound recording for documentaries, industrial films, and commercials. Later, I did photojournalism, video documentaries, and was a corporate photographer/videographer for Shure, Inc.

My photos have been in many exhibits, trade journals, and featured in my book “Chicago Parks Rediscovered” distributed by Northwestern University Press.

I have done stills for a number of films over the last few years including: "Officer Down", PBS American Master Series "Maya Angelou: And Still I rise" among others.

I am open to any interesting or creative ideas and love to collaborate with others. Contact me to discuss projects or shoots that you have in mind. I also do video interviews and conduct video oral histories with my colleague.

I have been in the industry since 1991.
