In Review: JVC GY-HM200SP 4K Camcorder Delivers Winning Shots
It is not unusual over the course of the year to get quite a few different professional camera packages to try out. They range from super high end to entry pro level. But that’s ok by me because I am always looking for the right camera for the program, not overkill. That said the JVC GY-HM200SP 4K CAM was really quite a pleasant surprise. But I’m not really sure why I was surprised. I think I might know. Normally, we only get to hang on to a camera for a few weeks at most. This time however we had a chance to stretch that review period out over a longer time which was some of the local high school football season and couldn’t have been happier with the results. Yes, and the team won some of their games too! But before I get to deep into the games lets get a snapshot of the physical make up of JVC GY-HM200SP.

PRO TIPS: HOW TO MAKE HIT VISUALS UNDERWATER
As a filmmaker it can be very visually exciting to enter and create in bold, new worlds. The excitement of pushing the boundaries into these worlds is very clearly in “Top Gun 2” where the filmmakers decided to put 4 IMAX cameras in real fighter plane cockpits and to film the action true to life rather than by using digital effects. The end result is that as an audience we feel immersed in a whole new world and are riveted.

Tips on Finding Your Composition in Wedding Cinematography
By Ray Roman I never really planned on leaving my fulltime job to become a wedding cinematographer. I was working at a police department on the SWAT team when I entered the business, and I thought it was just going to be a hobby. Over time, however, I started booking more clients than I could handle, and I had to make the leap. I was obsessed with video production. My first lesson of advice to anyone pursuing a newfound passion while still working fulltime would be to take it slow. I never considered the backlog that was going to come with these jobs until it was too late, and although I loved every second of it, it was hard work for a novice. I had to work doubly hard to develop my craft.
