Tech News: iZotope's Ozone 7: A Mastering Suite Gone Wild
Ozone 7 eagerly won my attention when I started exploring this software only six months ago. I now use Ozone for both live and studio mixing. My overall impression is that Ozone 7’s simplicity, ease of use, and classy display of modules are not only impressive in the way they sound but enjoyable to steer.

Technology Breakthroughs: Wildmoka Auto ReZone Delivers on the Promise of Vertical Viewing Via Smartphone
A few days ago I received a call from a very knowledgeable person in the media technology field who excitedly said “Stop what you are doing I want you check out this company called Wildmoka. They have this amazing new technology that you will love. Well, being the technology nerd that I am, I did stop and I did check them out. After reading the press release twice I was hooked and wanted to know more. ProductionHUB caught up with Thomas Menguy the President and CTO at Wildmoka. He walked us through a very interesting process of seamlessly real time converting horizontal images to a vertical for viewing on smart phones via AI and the cloud. He also shared some of the research that was instrumental in the development of their new product Auto ReZone.

Creative Culture Focuses on Diverse Storytelling with Blackmagic Design
Located in Pleasantville, NY, the Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) developed its Creative Culture fellowship program to help champion underrepresented voices and diverse storytelling. Now in its fourth year, Creative Culture has helped 35 filmmakers create projects that have been selected by top tier film festivals, such as Sundance, Berlinale, and SXSW, and acquired by Fox Searchlight, POV, NY Times Op Docs, and Staff Pick’d at Vimeo. This includes recent projects such as Adam Meeks’ “Union County” which premiered at this year’s Berlinale, and Crystal Kayiza’s “See You Next Time” which was selected at Sundance 2020 and recently acquired by The New Yorker.

The Studiobot — Bayerischer Rundfunk Case Study
Bayerischer Rundfunk needed a reliable and precise studio system to broadcast their daily news, using a consistent quality and style. In order to drive efficiencies and create the repeatable shots they were looking for they decided the studio footage should be automated. The Studiobot system was then installed in the centre of their news studio on the 3rd floor of the studio building in Munich-Freimann.
